WALK TO REMEMBER, WALK TO SUPPORT
We invite you to take time to care for yourself by making healthy choices as you participate in the Walk for Healing Challenge. We hope by participating you can feel healing and know that you are helping others as you support Hospice SLO County.

The Goal
Our collective goal is to reach 10,000 miles and raise $30,000 in 6 weeks.

$30 per participant
It's as easy as 1 - 2 - 3!
- Register to participate individually or with a team, or create your own team.
- Set a personal fitness goal and track your miles for the 6 weeks using your own fitness device or the Charity Footprints App.
- Once you register, you will be given a link to your own unique fundraising page. If you wish, you can personalize your page with your fundraising goal and send your link to friends and family to donate in your name.
- Form a team and challenge other teams to some friendly competition.
- If you are a business, May is Global Employee Health & Fitness Month! Use this walk to help your staff participate in this global event.
- Motivate your team by using the suggestions found HERE.
- Post a photo of your participation on your Instagram and tag us #walkforhealing2025 and #hospiceslocounty.
- Earn Charity Footprints* and a chance to win an individual or team trophy.

The WALK FOR HEALING challenge will raise funds to ensure Hospice SLO County has enough resources for a robust Counseling Program, a strong In-Home Support Program, a dedicated Pet Peace of Mind Program, and a growing Volunteer Corps. Your participation will make a direct impact on our services as we continue to see an increased need in SLO County.
